What’s in the cup? A single Origin Microlot coffee bean. Cocoa with mild caramel and dried grapefruit flavours. Mellow tart acidity and fruit-like sweetness.

Nemba Washing Station is located in Kayanza. Over 3,000 farmers, with less than half a hectare of land, and about 168 trees each, deliver beans to the Washing Station. Due to small coffee yields, most of the farmers also produce bananas, yams and green beans. 

Burundi is a tiny landlocked country, and one of the poorest in the World, so it's a small miracle that its coffee achieves some of the highest cupping scores in the World.
